Transvaginal Ultrasound

For additional detailed imaging, the sonographer may suggest a transvaginal ultrasound scan.
This involves inserting a small ultrasound probe gently to the vagina to obtain Pelvic Scan Stoke-On-Trent clearer images on the uterus and ovaries.
A transvaginal scan may be notably valuable when investigating:
PCOS
Ovarian cysts
Fibroids
Endometrial abnormalities
